Fushun Special Steel posts net profit of RMB 131 million for H1

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Fushun Special Steel Co.(Fushun Special Steel), a subsidiary of Dongbei Special Steel Group, has announced that in the first half of the current year it registered an operating revenue of RMB 2.581 billion ($0.40 billion), down 10.2 percent year on year, while it achieved a net profit of RMB 131 million ($20.47million), up 803.32 percent year on year.

In the first half of the current year, Fushun Special Steel produced 315,700 mt of crude steel and 250,400 mt of finished steel, decreasing by 9.52 percent and 12.81 percent year on year, respectively.
