Further 1,000 km added to high-speed rail plans in Shandong

The government of Shandong Province in China has announced that it is adding a further 1,000 km to its high-speed rail construction plans for the 2018-35 period.

Accordingly, by 2022 the new high-speed rail mileage under construction or already in operation is expected to amount to 3,300 km.
