On March 20, Hebei Province-based Hebei Langfang Fuqiang Group Co Ltd (Fuqiang Group) put into production a new tinplate line which has a planned annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons.
Fuqiang Group also has plans for a second tinplate line, the construction of which will begin in July and be completed at the end of December this year. The two tinplate lines together will have a combined production capacity of 200,000 metric tons per annum, worth a total of RMB 1.4 billion ($181 million).
