Fujian cuts 5.35 million mt of low-grade construction steel capacity in 2017

China’s Fujian Province eliminated 5.35 million mt of low-grade construction steel in 2017, at a total of 35 steel companies, as announced by Fujian Economic and Information Technology Committee.

Meanwhile, Fujian Province eliminated 2.44 million mt of coal capacity in 2017, with 36 coal producers affected.
