In the third quarter of this year,
France's gross domestic product (GDP) increased 0.2 percent compared to the previous quarter, according to the detailed statistics released by
France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). In the second quarter of this year, French GDP had decreased by 0.1 percent on quarter-on-quarter basis.
During the third quarter, in
France household consumption expenditure remained unchanged quarter on quarter, after remaining stable quarter on quarter in the second quarter of the year. Meanwhile, in the given quarter, the value of
France's imports increased by 2.5 percent quarter on quarter, after a 1.7 percent quarter-on-quarter fall in the previous quarter, while the value of French exports rose 0.5 percent in the third quarter, after a 0.1 percent quarter-on-quarter decrease in the previous quarter.
In
France, production of manufactured goods in the third quarter decreased by 2.6 percent quarter on quarter. Construction output in
France rose by 0.8 percent in the third quarter of this year, after a 0.1 percent decrease recorded in the previous quarter, both quarter on quarter.
