In the January-May period this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 15.422 billion mt, increasing by 5.8 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country’s roads totaled 2.77658 trillion mt-km, rising by 5.5 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
