Freight volumes on China’s roads increase by 5.9 percent in Q1

In the January-March period this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s roads amounted to 8.19 billion mt, increasing by 5.9 percent, while the freight traffic volume on the country’s roads totaled 1489.42 billion mt-km, up 5.9 percent, both year on year, according to the latest data issued by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).
