Freight volume on China’s Daqin railway down 3.72 percent in Q1

Chinese company Daqin Railway Co. Ltd (Daqin Railway) has announced that in the January-March period of the current year the freight volume transported on its railway line from Datong, Shanxi Province to Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province amounted to 109.71 million mt, down 3.72 percent year on year.

In March alone, the freight volume transported on the company’s railway line from Datong, Shanxi Province to Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province amounted to 38.85 million mt, down 0.64 percent year on year, while rising by 21.98 percent month on month.
