France's steel product import value up 25.4 percent in Jan-Nov

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-November period of last year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy imports amounted to a value of €8.5 billion, increasing by 25.4 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France imported €1.63 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 13.9 percent, €603.62 million of cold rolled steel strip - rising by 27.11 percent, €355.6 million of cold drawn wire - growing by 13.2 percent, €353.7 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 14.7 percent, and €1.5 billion of metal structures and parts - increasing by 9.6 percent, all compared to the January-November period of 2016.
