France's steel product import value up 14.6 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-February period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy imports amounted to a value of €1.43 billion, increasing by 14.6 percent year on year.
 
During the month in period, France imported €292.42 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 21.5 percent, €100.11 million of cold rolled steel strip - rising by 18.4 percent, €61.04 million of cold drawn wire - dropping  by 1.4 percent, €59.53 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 2.8 percent, and €249.79 million of metal structures and parts - increasing by 6.6 percent, all compared to the January-February period of 2016.
