France's steel product import value down 4.4 percent in Jan-Nov

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-November period of last year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy imports amounted to a value of €7.23 billion, decreasing by 4.4 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France imported €1.87 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 28.85 percent, €485.99 million of cold rolled steel strip - falling by 12 percent, €321.97 million of cold drawn wire - increasing by 1.15 percent, €338.39 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 3.88 percent, and €1.26 billion of metal structures and parts - declining by 5.20 percent, all compared to the January-November period of 2014.
