France's steel product export value up 5.5 percent in January-July

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-July period of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €6.42 billion, rising by 5.5 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €712.29 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 14.4 percent, €282.63 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 19.4 percent, €407.99 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 7.5 percent, €223.04 million of cold drawn wire - up five percent, and €446.85 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 13.4 percent, all compared to the first seven months of 2017.
