France's steel product export value up 1.25 percent in January-April

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €3.25 billion, increasing by 1.25 percent year on year.

During the period in question, France exported €651.9 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 14.3 percent, €170.39 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 1.18 percent, €127.88 million of cold drawn wire - down 4.4 percent, €114.9 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 1.5 percent, and €249 million of metal structures and parts - up 12.7 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
