France's steel product export value down 7.2 percent in January-July

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-July period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €6.43 billion, decreasing by 7.2 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €949.34 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 33.3 percent, €272.72 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 4.2 percent, €365.4 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 10.5 percent, €203.13 million of cold drawn wire - down nine percent, and €412.61 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 8.03 percent, all compared to the same period of 2018.
