France's steel product export value down 3.22 percent in Jan-Apr

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-April period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €3.5 billion, decreasing by 3.22 percent year on year.

In the given period, France exported €536 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 31.7 percent, €159.14 million of cold rolled steel bars - down 0.5 percent, €216.1 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 5.2 percent, €118.33 million of cold drawn wire - down 5.95 percent, and €234.86 million of metal structures and parts - falling by 9.8 percent, all compared to the same period of 2018.
