France's steel product export value down 12.5 percent in January-September

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the first nine months of this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €6.01 billion, falling by 12.5 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €1.08 billion of steel pipes and tubes - down 35.3 percent, €395.33 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 6.5 percent, €259.37 million of cold drawn wire - down by 6.8 percent, €237.9 million of cold rolled steel bars - down two percent, and €516.16 million of metal structures and parts - down by 13.6 percent, all compared to the same period of 2015.
