France’s metallurgical industry orders drop further in June

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), in June this year France's new industrial orders received, excepting heavy tranport vehicles, rose by 0.7 percent month on month. In May, a revised month-on-month decrease of 0.7 percent was registered.
 
Meanwhile, in the month in question, export orders increased as compared to the previous month, at a rate of 1.7 percent.
 
In June, industrial orders in the domestic metallurgical industry fell by another 7.5 percent as compared to the previous month, following a month-on-month decrease of 4.1 percent in May, while industrial orders in the manufacture of metal products except machinery declined by 1.1 percent as compared to May.
 
In June, industrial orders in France's automotive industry improved by 1.7 percent as compared to the previous month, after a decrease of 1.6 percent recorded in May.
