France’s industrial production drops 0.8 percent in October

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's industrial production in October decreased by 0.8 percent month on month, following a revised month-on-month decline of 1.1 percent recorded in September.

In October, France's production in manufacture of metals and metal products decreased by one percent, the production of the automotive industry declined by five percent, while the output of the construction industry remained unchanged, all compared to September 2009.
