Former VP of Bhushan Steel arrested for alleged fraud

Serious Fraud Investigation Office of India said that Neeraj Singal, former promoter and vice president of Bhushan Steel, has been arrested for alleged fraud.

Singal is being accused of siphoning off INR 20 billion ($290.12 million) from the loans provided for Bhushan Steel. The company was acquired by Tata Steel in May after being referred for insolvency resolution by banks.
