Finished steel inventory in China decreases during November

As of November 29 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in China totaled 8.6 million mt, down 800,000 mt or 8.5 percent month on month, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of the given date, domestic inventories of hot rolled coil (HRC), cold rolled coil (CRC), common medium plate, wire rod and rebar amounted to 1.99 million mt, 1.82 million mt, 1.20 million mt, 0.9 million mt and 2.69 million mt, respectively increasing by 1.7 percent, decreasing by 2.6 percent, rising by 8.2 percent, decreasing by 14.8 percent and down 21.1 percent, month on month.
