Final results of AD review on wire rod imported from Mexico
On November 8, 2004, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) published preliminary results of an administrative review of antidumping duties on carbon and certain alloy steel wire rod imported from Mexico. The period of review was April 10, 2002, through September 30, 2003 and it covered two Mexican producers of subject merchandise, namely Hylsa Puebla S.A de C.V (Hylsa) and Siderurgica Lazaro Cardenas Las Truchas S.A de C.V (SICARTSA). Margins in the preliminary results were 7.27% and 1.82% for Hylsa and SICARSTA, respectively. The previous dumping duty deposit rate was 20.11% for both Hylsa and SICARTSA. After analyzing the comments on the preliminary results, the DOC decided to make changes. Accordingly, the final results differ from the preliminary results.
