Final results of AD review on SSSS imported from Mexico
Upon the request of petitioners Allegheny Ludlum, AK Steel, North American Stainless, Local 3303 United Auto Workers, United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO/CLC, Butler Armco Independent, and Zanesville Armco Independent Organization, and respondent ThyssenKrupp Mexinox S.A de C.V (Mexinox), the US Department of Commerce (DOC), on August 30, 2004, initiated an antidumping administrative review on stainless steel sheet and strip imported from Mexico. The review covered the period July 1, 2003, through June 30, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that the imports from Mexinox were made at less than normal value. In the preliminary results, the weighted-average dumping margin for Mexinox was 3.01 percent. After evaluating the comments submitted, the DOC decided to make changes in the preliminary results. Accordingly, the final results differ from the preliminary results.
