Ferrexpo's iron ore concentrate output up 5.7 percent in January-May

Swiss-headquartered resources company Ferrexpo, which controls the Poltava GOK and Yeristovsky GOK iron ore mines in Ukraine, has announced that in the January-May period of the current year its overall iron ore pellet production increased by 3.4 percent year on year to 4.588 million mt.

In the first five months of the year, Ferrexpo's iron ore concentrate production increased by 5.7 percent year on year to 5.720 million mt.

In May alone, the company produced 836,000 mt of pellets and 1.113 million mt of concentrate.
