Fan Gang: US-China trade tensions could greatly affect Asian economies

Fan Gang, director of China's National Economic Research Institute, has stated at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2018 that the US-China trade dispute will not only influence China’s development, while will also result in risks of economic fluctuations among Asian countries. Mr. Fan said that, through development over recent years, China is connected to other Asian countries via supply chains, adding that US-China trade tensions could greatly affect Asian economies.
