FAI in China’s roads and waterways up 23.8 percent in H1

In the January-June period of the current year, fixed asset investment (FAI) in roads and waterways in China totaled RMB 967.26997 billion ($142.25 billion), increasing by 23.8 percent year on year, as announced by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).

In particular, in the given period FAI in roads in China amounted to RMB 897.60721 billion ($132 billion), rising by 28.9 percent year on year.
