FAI in China’s roads and waterways down 0.1 percent in January-August

In the January-August period this year, fixed asset investment (FAI) in roads and waterways in China totaled RMB 1.4 trillion ($0.2 trillion), decreasing by 0.1 percent year on year, as announced by China’s Ministry of Transportation (MOT).

In particular, in the given period FAI in roads in China amounted to RMB 1.296 trillion ($0.19 trillion), decreasing by 1.0 percent year on year.
