Evraz ZSMK invests RUB 1 billion in modernization in 2014

Evraz ZSMK, a Siberian steel division of steel and mining group Evraz, has announced that in 2014 it invested over RUB 1 billion ($15.5 million) in technical re-equipment, replacement and modernization of equipment. Systematic work in this direction has allowed the plant to increase production efficiency, while remaining one of the leaders in the local rolled metal market.

In 2014, the technical re-equipment concerned virtually all parts of Evraz ZSMK.
