Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate output down in February

Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in February this year its iron ore concentrate production decreased by 2.4 percent year on year to 806,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 16.4 percent year on year to 220,000 mt.
 
In the January-February period of this year, Evraz UGOK saw a 0.6 percent year-on-year decrease in its iron ore concentrate production to 1.698 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period rose by 35.4 percent year on year to 467,000 mt.
