European commercial vehicle registrations up 6.2 percent in January

In January this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) increased by 6.2 percent year on year to 199,853 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).

In January, Germany (+15.8%) posted the highest increase, followed by the UK (+9.7%), France (+8.4%) and Spain (+8.3%), while registrations of new commercial vehicles fell only in Italy (-1.3%).
