In October this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) declined by 7.3 percent year on year to 205,845 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
In October, all of the largest markets in the EU except Italy (+0.7%) and Spain (+0.9%) posted declines, with Germany (-11.4%) seeing the strongest decline, followed by the UK (-9.3%) and France (-2.6%).
In the first ten months of this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU totaled almost 2,137,469 units, up 3.3 percent on year-on-year basis. Germany drove the growth with an 8.2 percent increase, followed by France (+5.1%), Italy (+4.4%), the United Kingdom (+3.8%) and Spain (+1.4%).
