European commercial vehicle registrations up 2.2 percent in Jan-Nov

In November this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) declined by 8.9 percent year on year to 198,701 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).

In November, the decline affected all major markets. Italy (-11.7%) posted the strongest decline, followed by UK (-10.7), France (-7.1%), Germany (-6,1) and Spain (-2,5).

In the first eleven months of this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU totaled almost 2,336,446 units, up 2.2 percent on year-on-year basis. Germany drove the growth with a 6.7 percent increase, followed by France (+4.0%), Italy (+2.6%), the United Kingdom (+2.6%) and Spain (+1.1%), all year on year.
