According to the indexes issued by the European Steel Association (EUROFER), local scrap prices in the European Union (EU) in February this year indicated declines of 3.69-4.95 percent compared to January levels, after a three-month uptrend on month-on-month basis. The index values in February are almost identical to those recorded in November last year. The data for February are as follows:
