Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin (NMZK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), has restarted operations at mills 20-114 No. 1 and 20-114 No. 2 in its plate and pipe production shop, which had been idled due to lack of demand.

Accordingly, NMZK is currently operating all its equipment, including newly-restarted mills, the mills 10-50 and 20-102 at its plate and pipe production shop, and also mill 810 at its hot rolling shop.

In January, NMZK plans to produce 5,000 mt of steel products.
