The Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding has bought some idle melt shop equipment from Finnish company Outokumpu through its Swiss-based representative SYTCO.
The equipment is to be installed at ESTAR's subsidiary, Zlatoust Metallurgical Works (ZMZ), as part of the plant's reconstruction program.
Although both Outokumpu and SYTCO have confirmed to SteelOrbis that the sale has taken place, both companies refused to give any specifics regarding the equipment involved due to a mutual agreement between the sides not to disclose the content of the sale agreement.
