Equipment installation to start for HRC project at Zhanjiang

According to Beijing-based state-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), its subsidiary China MCC20Group started equipment installation for the 2,250 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) production project at Chinese steel producer Baosteel's Zhanjiang steel base on February 11.
 
The 2,250 hot rolled coil production project at the Zhanjiang steel base is expected to produce 5.5 million mt of high-strength hot rolled coil per year. Construction work on the project had commenced on August 11, 2013.
