Environmental scoping study for Ntaka Hill nickel project approved

Canada-based mineral exploration company Continental Nickel (CNI) has announced that the environmental scoping study for the Ntaka Hill nickel project has been approved by the National Environment Management Council (NEMC) of Tanzania.
 
CNI and Australian miner IMX Resources earlier stated that estimated and indicated mineral resources at their joint venture Ntaka Hill nickel project have increased by 150 percent to 12.7 million mt compared to the previous mineral resource estimate in April 2011.
 
The Ntaka Hill project is part of the larger Nachingwea joint venture in southern Tanzania and is a 25/75 joint venture between IMX Resources Limited and Continental Nickel Limited.
