The municipal government of Wuhu in China’s Anhui Province has issued emergency emissions reduction measures effective from September 5 to September 11 inclusive, aimed at tackling air pollution.
The emergency emissions reduction measures include 50 percent production cuts at steelmakers' blast furnaces in the city.
