EEC imposes AD duty on HDG imports from Ukraine and China

The board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) announced on December 3 that it has imposed an antidumping (AD) duty on hot dip galvanized (HDG) flat steel imports from China and Ukraine.

The antidumping duty rates range between 12.69 percent and 17 percent for Chinese companies and stand at 23.9 percent for Ukraine.

According to the EEC, the use of antidumping measures will positively affect the economy of EAEU enterprises. The decision will enter into force 30 calendar days from the date of its official publication.

The products subject to antidumping duty currently fall under Customs Statistics Position Numbers 7210490001, 7210490009, 7210610000, 7212300000, 7212506100 and 7225920000.
