Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) has announced that its Hubei-based subsidiary Echeng Iron and Steel Co. has won a tender to supply 20,000 mt of steel plates for boiler and pressure vessles to China International Marine Containers Group (CIMC).
Since Echeng Steel began its strategic cooperation relationship with CIMC in December 2012, it has supplied 21,483 mt of boiler steel plates to CIMC, including over 9,000 mt so far in the current year.
