The Ukrainian company Dnepropress has supplied a new press for scrap packing to the country's steelmaker Makeevsk Metallurgical Plant (Makeevsk).
The new equipment will enable the packing of scrap for use later on as blast furnace charge.
Operation of the new press is scheduled to commence in August 2007.
