Sichuan Province-based Dazhou Iron and Steel Group (Dazhou Steel) has announced that it will carry out the relocation of its facilities in 2019, moving from the current site in the old town area to an industrial park away from the center of the city. The relocation is also expected to ensure cleaner air conditions for inhabitants of Dazhou. Furthermore, the main business of Dazhou Steel will change from rebar and wire rod production to production of special steel, vanadium and titanium steels, and other high value-added building materials.
