Dayton Steel Service to merge with Thompson Steel Co.

Dayton Steel Service Inc. and Thompson Steel Company Inc. announced Tuesday that the two companies will merge together forming Thompson Dayton Steel Service in order to better serve the needs of their customers throughout the Midwest. 

The merger will allow the company to serve a larger market ranging from stampers to fabricators in the flat rolled steel industry. 

Thompson Dayton Steel Service offers a variety of steel and steel products, specializing in the flat rolled steel industry.  The company operates five flat rolled and strip steel production facilities at two Ohio sites, and at South Carolina, Georgia, and Michigan locations.
