Italian plantmaker Danieli’s subsidiary Danieli Centro Combustion has announced that Danieli Olivotto Ferrè, part of Danieli Centro Combustion, will supply a new bell-type annealing plant for Turkish long steel producing group Diler Holding’s subsidiary Diler Iron and Steel Industry and Trade Inc.

The new plant will be installed at the company’s plant in Dilovası, Kocaeli, and is designed mainly for spheroidizing annealing of wire rods in coils, with coils having outside diameters in the range of 1,250-1,400 mm and with wire rod diameters in the range of 4.5-27 mm.

According to Danieli Centro Combustion, the plant will process coils under a nitrogen protective atmosphere and will consist of three bases designed for a maximum workload capacity of 40 mt, plus two bell furnaces and a cooling hood.

Established in 1984, Diler Iron and Steel Industry and Trade Inc., is specialized in wire rods for automotive applications.
