Dana Incorporated opens $75 million axle facility in Ohio

Ohio-based Dana Incorporated recently inaugurated a new $75 million high-tech axle production facility in Toledo, Ohio. The site will build approximately 1 million axles annually. According to the press release, the new 300,000 square foot facility is centrally located to support automakers throughout the geographic region as well as strategically located near material suppliers including steel providers.

To support the investment, Dana received financial assistance from the State of Ohio, JobsOhio, the Regional Growth Partnership, Lucas County, the City of Toledo, the Port Authority, and First Energy.

Dana employs nearly 29,000 people in 33 countries on six continents with reported sales of more than $5.8 billion in 2016.
