CSC’s steel sales volume up four percent in January from December

Taiwan’s largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in January this year its carbon steel sales volume totaled 913,450 mt, increasing by four percent from December, accounting for 72 percent of domestic sales.

In January, CSC’s operating revenues amounted to NTD 38.07 billion ($1.26 billion), up by nine percent compared to December. In the given month, the company’s operating income totaled NTD 2.6 billion ($85.8 million), increasing by 15 percent from the previous month.
