CSC’s steel output up in October over September

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in October this year its steel production volume totaled 700,043 metric tons, increasing by 13 percent compared to the previous month and down 4.7 percent year on year.
 
In October, CSC's steel product sales volume amounted to 704,944 metric tons, up 7.5 percent compared to September this year and decreasing by four percent compared to October 2011.
 
In the month in question, the steelmaker's sales revenues amounted to NTD 15.18 billion ($518.933 million), increasing by 4.35 percent month on month and down 20 percent year on year.
