The seasonally adjusted confidence index in Italian manufacturing was almost unchanged in February from January, standing at 88.5, up just 0.22 percent month on month. Production expectations were stable, as were assessments of inventories and order books.
The index rose 0.45 percent for intermediate goods, while it fell 0.46 percent for instrumental goods and 0.1 percent for consumer goods, all month on month.
