Saint-Petersburg region-based pipe producer Trubostal, a subsidiary of Russian leading independent network company on the steel market Comtech, has announced that, besides regular water and gas pipes made of ST2PS and ST3PS steel grades, it has launched the production of section-profiled pipes made of 09G2S steel grade.
Accordingly, the decision was due to the steady demand for pipes made of 09G2S steel grade, which are used in complicated construction designs, due to their better mechanical characteristics. The pipes made of 09G2S steel grade are more yielding, strong and less subject to corrosion.
Trubostal is specialized in the production of longitudinal welded and section-shaped pipes.
