Coke output down 0.9 percent in January-September

Metallurgical coke output in China amounted to 350.86 million mt in the first nine months of the current year, down 0.9 percent year on year, 0.5 percentage points slower than the declining pace of 1.4 percent recorded in the first eight months of the year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). In September alone, China’s coke output amounted to 40.59 million mt, up 2.6 percent year on year.
