Coke exports from Shanxi down 38.2 percent in August

In August this year, China’s Shanxi Province exported 67,000 mt of metallurgical coke, with a value of RMB 69.47 million ($10.91 million), down 38.2 percent and 45.2 percent year on year while indicating month-on-month increases of 71.4 percent and 92.5 percent, respectively, as announced by the Shanxi provincial authorities. Most coke exports from Shanxi Province are shipped to India, Japan and Brazil.
